Petr graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 1987 he has worked in many positions, both in production and trade, working his way up from a sales representative to Key Account Manager or Sales Director responsible for the Czech and Slovakian markets. Most of his professional life has been connected with multinational companies operating in consumer electronics and construction. For example, he worked for Robert Bosch and Stanley Black & Decker. He was responsible for achieving a turnover in the range of billions of Czech crowns. In several cases, he has also worked as Managing Director as part of his business position.
Petr’s strengths rest on his personality. He is primarily focused on performance, loves numbers and analyses and strongly favours loyalty, responsibility and goal-orientation in all his colleagues. In his professional life, he is very fond of the saying: “You can either have excuses or results. You can never have both.” Therefore, he has always tried to surround himself with a team of colleagues who will never stop searching for new ways to succeed, even when the market and competition are on the rise.
His major accomplishments include the successful integration of business companies Stanley and Black & Decker into one successful company with more than a decade of continuous growth.
Peter is currently engaged in brokerage and consultancy activities in the business sector.
